Paul, writing to the Corinthians for a second time, has much to say.  Much of his writing comes to us as being stern.  But consider:  don't you endure much more bad behavior from other people's children than your own?  You discipline your children;  you wish others would discipline theirs.  The Corinthians are Paul's children.
