The Morse family has been evangelizing the people groups of Southeast Asia since the 1930’s. Joni is a third generation missionary in Thailand (see maps below). He works out of the city of Ching Mi, in Northern Thailand. Speaking several languages, Joni works with the hill tribes, dealing with tribal animist beliefs. Thousands have come to Christ because of the efforts of this family. Joni begins by translating the Bible into the native tribal language (often this requires him to invent the alphabet for it!) May we ask your support in this? Joni is afflicted with a form of leukemia. His medical coverage has lapsed, and the medications are indeed expensive. We would solicit your prayers for him, and for his family.
