Kings of Judah

A study of the kings of Judah may seem somewhat less than desirable these days.  They've been dead for almost three thousand years.  But they were humans like us, and their failures and successes still have use for us.  First, we shall see their mistakes in running a nation; not all alliances are a good idea.  Next, we shall see their failings as human beings, and hope to learn from that.

2 Chronicles 14-16 Asa - The life of Asa, King of Judah - success and failure.
2 Chronicles 18-20 Jehoshaphat - The reign of Jehoshaphat - sometimes an alliance is a really bad idea.
2 Chronicles 24-26 Three Kings -  The stories of three kings of Judah: Joash, Amaziah and Uzziah.
2 Chronicles  29-31 Hezekiah, Part 1 -  The story of Hezekiah's cleansing of the Temple, calling the people to the Passover and then cleansing the land.
Isaiah 36-39 Hezekiah, Part 2 - Concerning Hezekiah and the invasion by Sennacherib; Hezekiah's mortal illness; the sun reversing on the steps of Ahaz and the visit by the Babylonian ambassadors.
2 Kings 23; 2 Chronicles 34-35 Josiah -  Life of Josiah, the last good king of Judah.
